Goodwill Ambassador for Overseas Pakistanis

Goodwill Ambassador is a title of honor for an individual who serves an organization or cause as an Ambassador of Goodwill. The governmental as well as the non-governmental organizations use the services of goodwill ambassadors to promote their ideals, values and missions as well as programs among the people of a country, province, or city as well as specific fields of activity, communities or groups. The primary responsibilities of a goodwill ambassador is to (a) introduce the organization among the people and institutions, (b) promote membership, events and services of the organization and (c) generate funds for the organization.

Good Governance Forum plans to nominate Goodwill Ambassadors for Overseas Pakistanis based in different countries, provinces/states, cities around the world to serve as a bridge between the overseas Pakistanis and the Good Governance Forum in Pakistan.

We also plan to set up a Central Advisory Committee on Overseas Pakistanis based in Islamabad to liaise with the federal government to help solve the issues of the overseas Pakistanis and to facilitate them in playing a key role in the governance of Pakistan.

We were the first to offer Online Voting System to the Supreme Court and the Election Commission of Pakistan to enable the overseas Pakistanis to cast their votes from their computers at their homes or offices. Unfortunately, the ECP didn't agree to try the system and the President of Pakistan signed the legislation just four days before May 11 general elections.

Our Goodwill Ambassadors for Overseas Pakistanis will also be members of the Central Advisory Committee on Overseas Pakistanis for better coordination and meaningful achievements. They will promote the Good Governance Forum and its mission among the overseas Pakistanis in their community or network and enlist them as our overseas members to lend support to the national cause of good governance in Pakistan.

With 7000+ members from all walks of life, 500+ NGOs and 15000+ media associates, we have a voice to be heard and action to be initiated by the government.

Those interested may please email us their profile at Selection will be entirely merit-based and no appointment is guaranteed at this point of time. Initial appointment will be for one year renewable for a further period with mutual consent. Rules of Conduct will apply. We don't charge any fee from the Goodwill Ambassadors nor do we pay them for their services. It’s ex-gratis from both sides in the larger national interest.
